Abstract :  Ultra High Performance-Strain Hardening Cementitious Composites (UHP-SHCC) have been developed for utilizing repair of concrete structures. It is cement based repair material that exhibits high strength with multiple fine cracking phenomena and high resistance against penetration of corrosive substances. And also, not only casting but also spraying technique has been developed for repair applications. Surface protection repair is one of the effective method to recover the durability performance of deteriorated concrete structures due to penetration of corrosive substances such as chloride ion, water, CO2 and so forth. Redeterioration such as cracking, delamination and swelling of repair material itself has been, however, reported. This paper presents fundamental material properties of the UHP-SHCC. This paper also introduces two repair techniques; one is hybrid surface protection repair system that has function of both patching repair and surface coating one, the other is rapid jacketing system for damaged structures subjected to earthquake.
