Abstract : Dynamic analysis for existing structures which are founded on rock may be performed as fixed base structure, without consideration the effect of Soil Structure Interaction (SSI). With advancement in the field of analysis and computing powers, the current industrial practice is shifting towards the consideration of SSI for establishing a more realistic response of the structure.
