Abstract :  Non-canonical shapes given by contemporary Architecture lead to structural arrangements that must introduce rationality, soundness, constructability and durability in a complex set of boundaries. It is the role of the Structural Engineer to achieve this goal. Concrete and high-strength concrete have proved to be the best solution for two complex projects in Milano: the Hadid Tower and the Libeskind tower in the Citylife) new development.
