Abstract : Modern precast technology gives a good and proven solution to large-scale housing needs. The main focus should be on system development which not only fulfils the customer’s needs but also follows the principles of industrialised processes. The key point is to move site work to controlled factory conditions. This means better productivity and quality. The design phase of the building is the most essential because the main selections are done at that phase. The industrial process and its benefits must be taken into account from the beginning of the building project.
