Abstract :  In the last few years all over the world energy efficiency in buildings were studied a lot in order to lower energy consumption. At the same time the need for prefabricated and preinsulated constructions rose. In this field indeed the need to build quickly, low cost and with high energy performances is due to supply to people who undergo earthquakes, floods, strong storms etc., new houses, schools, hospitals. This kind of construction is cheaper and quicker than standard ones. Nevertheless, in order to reach low energy consumption aims, design and experimentation micro models are necessary in order to understand which the solution with highest performances is. In this paper a new kind of prefabricated and pre-insulated building is shown. The design comes from a worldwide patent pending regarding prefabricated diffusing noise barrier for traffic road. This new structure, adapted in a closed panel, has high acoustics performances which are maintained in this building. Moreover the design trend implemented the energy insulation and the PV panels on the top of the roof. The peculiar pattern of the inner panel is used to also accommodate plumbing and small electrical equipment.
