Abstract :  The design of an auditorium is a complex and elaborate process involving acoustic, aesthetic, technical and other considerations. There are objective and subjective variables to be taken into consideration aesthetically. Some of the objective variables are Reverberation Time, early decay time, clarity, definition, strength, centre time and lateral energy efficiency. A study of these parameters as applied to different halls using Computer Aided Theatre Technique (CATT) software has been discussed in this paper.
